The Regency Square Area Society has been working for over 40 years to foster a real sense of community by bringing together local residents and businesses to deal with the challenges of this busy area in central Brighton.
Amongst other things we organise social events to bring the community together, support our local volunteer gardening group that keeps our gardens looking so well, monitor and respond to planning applications in the area, meet with the local PCSOs to help address crime and anti-social behaviour in the area, work with B&H Council on funding and regeneration for our three wonderful gardens in Regency, Clarence and Russell Square, organise, fund, erect and light a Christmas tree for the area each year, set up and support a number of local initiatives to improve the area, and many many many more things to make our local area as lovely a place to live and work as it can be!
The Society covers the area bounded on the south by Kings Road, on the west by Little Preston Street, on the north by Western Road and on the east by Cannon Place. If you live or work in that area, then we represent you, so please join us - new members are always welcome!
Please explore our web site to find out more about the area and the society.
