Our local theatre is located in Clarence Gardens, and has an amazing history. Since 1940 it has been home to a very active theatre group which currently stages at least ten plays a year. The Society organises visits to many of the productions for members.

This committee was set up by the City Council to advise on planning matters in conservation areas. It is made up of representative of various societies and associations. Mike Davies attends CAGs meetings on behalf of our loal area.

Possibly the oldest amenity society in Brighton and Hove, the Regency Society played a key role in preserving the fine seafront architecture around Brunswick Square. It continues to keep a watching brief regarding planned development. It is noted for its programme of lectures on architecture and related subjects.
